Delaine is a passionate, highly skilled public health practitioner with over 10 years of experience leading programs in global health, research, and health equity. As the inaugural Women's Health Equity Fellow at Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation, Delaine applied her Master of Public Health degree, her skills in data collection and analysis, project management, and community engagement to address health disparities and social determinants of health among marginalized people. She passionately works to design and facilitate community health initiatives and advocate for policy changes to improve care access.Formerly a strategist and facilitator at Turnlane, a consulting firm that helps leaders achieve their equity goals, Delaine gained critical experience leveraging her expertise in public health administration and policy. Working primarily with public sector stakeholders, she executed change management skills to analyze systemic factors impacting the inclusion and health of citizens and co-developed impactful and sustainable solutions with Community members. To amplify her message that "health justice must proceed health equity," she served as a 2022 Tedx Speaker, called, "Yes, Racism Is A Public Health Crisis...
