My name is Delaine Nash. I went to the University of Arizona my Freshman year, but transferred to the University of Colorado Boulder. I am majoring in Political Science with a minor in Business and leadership studies with a certificate in Peace and Conflict Studies. I am passionate about my future career, and I am hoping to gain as much experience as possible. My top 5 qualities are organization, motivation to excel, perseverance, critical thinking, and determination. I love helping people, and I have great social skills. I have interned with one private criminal defense practice. I was the Aurora Colorado State Public Defender’s Senior Supervising Paralegal in Summer of 2022 and was asked to return back for the Summer of 2023 continuing into the school year. I am looking to gain experience, and become a more rounded and knowledgeable individual. I am excited for future possibilities. I have demonstrated my commitment to helping others through my involvement with NCL and the BOEC where I helped families in need ski and get the necessities they need for success. Throughout my experiences, I have learned the importance of moving on from failure and that life can be difficult if you make it. I am interested in building further skills and experiences in future involvement at the University of Colorado. Being a dedicated, enthusiastic, and determined individual, I push myself to learn and thrive in new environments. I am excited for what the future holds in the next phase of my life.
