I moved around often while growing up and have lived in Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Utah. I attended Utah State University for undergrad. During my time at USU, I worked at various places including a pet boarding business, a mixed animal practice, and a biochemistry laboratory at a dairy processing facility. My career goals include continuing education in ultrasonography (including rudimentary echocardiograms), internal work-ups and cytology proficiency, and integrative medicine such as acupuncture, laser therapy, and physical rehabilitation to help our patients through difficult surgeries and those who don't respond as well to Western medicine, in an effort to give our pets the best possible quality of life. I am enthusiastic about the veterinary field and am excited to start changes for the future!
