I am a second-year student at the University of Kentucky, majoring in Integrated Strategic Communication and Writing, Rhetoric, and Digital Studies. I aim to expand my knowledge in Public Relations and Marketing. In my time at UKY so far, I have joined the Happy Cats Club, a club promoting mental health, in which I learned how to work well with a team to accomplish a common goal. I worked as a Community Assistant at a new apartment complex, Signature Apartments, where I got first-hand marketing experience. I currently work at Planet Salon and Spa, where I can gain experience in problem-solving and interacting with customers on a daily. These after-school activities helped me learn time management, excellent communication between co-workers and customers, and gain first-hand experience.
