I am a Professional Biologist (P.Biol., R.P.Bio.) with over 22 years experience working on projects requiring wildlife-related expertise. I have lead and supported others leading various environmental projects including renewable energy report submissions, environmental evaluations, environmental impact assessments, environmental site assessments, Environmental Protection Plans, emergency spill response, pre-development assessments and applications, post development assessments (e.g., mitigation and monitoring programs) and research projects. Throughout my 15 years at Matrix, I have held different roles including Team Coordinator, Wildlife Technical Lead and Power Market Sector Lead. I was also a member of our Board of Directors.Key career highlights include:-Supporting the full project life-cycle (land selection through to post-construction mortality monitoring) for several renewable energy projects including the Travers Solar Project-Providing expert witness testimony at an AUC hearing-Developing guidance documents and decisions frameworks for clients related to wildlife management, including documents for migratory birds, pileated woodpecker and bat management plans-Identifying training priorities and career pathways for the talent group of other biologist I get to work with-Designing, implementing and analyzing data associated with large-scale wildlife monitoring programs.
