I enjoy being able to create and venture into new businesses of my own as well as the autonomy that my current job allows. So here are 6 quick things about myself and my job.1.) Since going live in Barbados in 2016, I have been able to bring to light Term Finance's lending services to some of Barbados' tier 1 private sector organizations as well as public sector. My CEO, Oliver Sabga and I have also dealt with persons having a lack of knowledge when it comes to their own personal finances, so we created a Financial Wellness presentation; something that current lenders do not do i.e educating your audience/customer base before selling them on a product that they know they may be able to access.2.) I am an entrepreneur that currently owns and manages a power washing company (Pressure On), a gym and international sporting event (Barbados Ninja Throwdown) and a consulting and recruiting service, specifically designed for call center recruitment (Featherbedmint).3.) I got the Country Manager job offer in a strange but out of the blue phone call as my CEO received a recommendation from a family member. He contacted me in December 2015 and January 2016 I lived and worked in Trinidad & Tobago for 3 months, learning the lending system as well as growing the loan book and getting my feet wet for high level sales meetings with some of Trinidad & Tobago's well known businesses.4.) I am where I am today due to the principles instilled in me from my family; "Never bite the hand that feeds you." A motto I live by and a motto that always allows me to appreciate the position I have been put in and a reminder to always keep looking ahead with the business' interests first.5.) To sum my job I assist individual and small-medium size businesses with responsible short-term loan products that are transparent, affordable and convenient. To summarize me as a person, I enjoy working for an employer who knows how to get the best out of me and allows me to foster my own individual growth as an entrepreneur.6.) I am employable to those who are willing to work with me, transparency, team work and dedication are key.
