As the Erasmus Mundus Country Representative for Namibia, I promote Erasmus Mundus programmes and support prospective students throughout their application process. Leveraging my experience in communications, I organise outreach events, workshops, and provide guidance on scholarships and academic requirements. I aim to increase awareness among the private sector, highlighting the benefits of collaborating with a master's programme that produces outstanding students. Additionally, I foster community engagement among students and alumni, advocate for increased support from local institutions, and serve as a liaison between the Erasmus Mundus Association and the Namibian educational community. I am truly committed to increasing the number of successful Namibian.

Academic Coordinator of the Fulbright Summer Institute on Farming and Agriculture in Wales: Sustainable Food Production and Land Use. I worked as a researcher under the office of the Pro-vice Chancellor Innovation, Research and Development at the University of Namibia, coordinating the Bush to Feed Project first and then the RUFORUM project, both of them targeting the optimisation of bush-based feed production. My main tasks were to coordinate the fieldwork, production and assisted the PI in the research work coordination.As an animal scientist and researcher, I tried to promote innovation thereby contributing to food security and developing strong relations with partners overseas. I taught nutrition modules e.g. fodder flow occasionally.

I was employed as a consultant to help in the development of the Feed Formulation Application of the Farm4Trade Suite and coordinate some of the activities in Windhoek. Some of the tasks I performed are:-Compile the nutritional values and animals requirement database necessary forthe software-Make sure the software ensures high quality formulas-Assist in modifications of the software after trials-Coordination of the local consultants, involvement of stakeholders, logistics,etc

I worked as a consultant giving technical advice to the Support to the Debushing Project on the production of animal feed from encroacher bush species. My main tasks included: research coordination, field work coordination, feed production and quality control.

I worked at the Animal Feed component of the Support to the De-Bushing Project. My main task consisted of supporting scientific research to test the bushfeed concept. I would highlight designing experimental set-ups, formulating feed ratios, optimizing animal diets with available resources, identifying feedstuffs, laboratory analyses of the samples, supervising and collecting the data of the on farm experiments, statistical analyses of the data.

Under the academic guidance of Professor Makkar I worked on a publication on the topic “Crop residues in Developing Countries: Feed security versus Energy Security”, in which I analysed the viability of the use of crop residues as source for animal feeding vis a vis Second Generation Bioethanol. I had to validate the data and coordinate the work of the different Universities that were cooperating with our study (in Asia, Africa and Latin America). I also developed a model to calculate the Theoretical Ethanol Yield and the Global Livestock Environmental Assessment Model (GLEAM) was used to calculate the meat, milk and Nitrogen production from the crop residues. The last step of the study consisted of analysing the economical aspect.
