I'm currently a junior and honors student at UNC Chapel Hill, where I was accepted as an assured admit to the Hussman school of Journalism and Media. As Editor-in-Chief at The Daily Tar Heel, I oversee the production and publication of all content for the student-run newspaper of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I lead a team of writers, editors photographers and designers to create engaging and diverse content focusing on perspectives on campus, local and national issues. In addition to my role at The Daily Tar Heel, I am a Communication Assistant at the Institute for the Arts and Humanities, where I assist with the promotion and coordination of academic programs and events.In these roles, I have developed skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Premiere Pro, AP Style and editing, and I am interested in exploring different forms and formats of journalism and the larger media world. I am driven by the mission of informing, educating, and inspiring the public through quality journalism and content.
