My wife and I started a side hustle investing in short-term rentals back in 2011, buying a condo in Winter Park, CO to own in a place we love visiting and have guests pay our mortgage instead of paying someone else’s mortgage. I led a new product planning and ops team team across all DocuSign products. We scaled product planning, including product vision, strategy and annual operating plan inputs, as well as execution-oriented operations like NPI for a fast-growing organization.

I led the products and experience/design organization at SpringCM which is the leading contract management app and enterprise document management platform company for over 600 customers in commercial and public sector markets. SpringCM empowers companies to become more productive by reducing the time spent managing mission-critical business documents. Intelligent, automated workflows enable document collaboration across an organization from any desktop or mobile device. Delivered through a secure cloud platform, SpringCM’s document and contract management solutions work seamlessly with Salesforce or as a standalone solution.

Leading the enterprise software team as well as forming the plan for and leading "Morningstar as a Service" which includes the Developer site and services within--data, research, engines and web components from across Morningstar.

In Morningstar's shift from a product to solutions orientation, formed a team of global solutions architects coordinates to assemble and delivery of creative solutions based on client needs. The team played a key role in driving innovation of core capabilities.

Following the acquisition of Tenfore, I led a team to build next generation software on top of the real-time data Tenfore brought to Morningstar which included both a branded market data app and web components.

I was the product manager for the launch of a variety of new products, including Integrated Web Tools (http://corporate.morningstar.com/iwt) and capabilities within Advisor Workstation. From 2004-2006, I worked with the head of Morningstar Direct (http://corporate.morningstar.com/direct) as the product development manager to build the next generation of our institutional platform which has become Morningstar's flagship platform.

I quickly built up my skills in my early years at Morningstar through the following roles:* Variable Annuity and Open-End Databases -- as a data analyst collected data and improved systems by automating manual processes* Quality Leader -- started the first data quality effort at Morningstar* Contributed to the next generation data collection platform requirements and design* Research Integration Project Manager - worked with the research team to lead the integration of the new star ratings and style box methodology into the databases and products. My work, which included helping products to visualize integration of the data, led to my next role on the Morningstar Direct team.
