About Ashley Deleon
I'm a NYC-based children's entertainment producer, performer, and media scholar. I completed my bachelor's degree in May 2023, where I received departmental honors and the Top Scholar Award in Media Studies, Journalism & Digital Arts. I am passionate about using media as a vessel for education and visibility for underrepresented communities, while utilizing digital media and streaming to promote education and social development. I am an ardent advocate for media literacy in primary and secondary education, safe screen use, and equitable education, and hope to channel these interests into future digital media projects in children's "edutainment."I recently completed a web-documentary that explores the evolving landscape of children's media in the age of streaming and social media.
