Double board-certified in healthcare management and ASC administration, healthcare executive with more than two decades of leadership experience in surgery center and practice management, hospital administration, compliance, and corporate development. I am pleased to have helped guide its bariatric program to MBSA “Center of Excellence” recognition, as well as BCBS "Blue Distinction Center", Aetna "Institute of Quality", Optum "Center of Excellence", and American College of Surgeons ACS Surgical Quality Partner designations -- one of a handful of ASCs in the nation to merit these distinctions. At the same time, we developed the first ASC-based robotic joint replacement program in West Texas using the Stryker Mako system, and the region's first robotic general, bariatric, and urologic surgery programs with the Intuitive DaVinci X robot. We are also gratified to have been ranked #1 in West Texas and in the Top 5% nationally in Newsweek’s "America’s Best Ambulatory Surgery Centers" four years running and been voted by the West Texas community as the "Best in the West Outpatient Surgery Center" for 2022, 2023, and again for 2024. We recently added another operating room to one center and working on adding 1-3 additional operating rooms at the second center to facilitate further growth.
