For over 12 years, I have been leading a non profit organization that develops the career tech need of students served through the educational systems of Adventures in Learning k-12 and Adventures in Learning k-12 Career Academies. As the President and Founder, I oversee the strategic direction, financial management, and program development of the organization, working with a diverse team of educators, volunteers, and partners.I am also an Author Trainer, a Co-Founder of Adventures in Learning k-12 Inc, and a commissioner for human relations commission for the city of Colorado Springs. I have a certification in governance from Harvard University Kennedy School of Government, a masters in administration and leadership from University of Colorado at Boulder, and multiple honors and publications in the field of education. I am passionate about providing services to youth that empower their success as students, and providing tools to school districts and city governments to address generational poverty in our communities. I have extensive experience in workshop facilitation, negotiation training, social networking, educational leadership, student retention and engagement, civic engagement, board governance, and non profit management.
