I am the director of Tanya’s Dream Fund, a time-bound initiative, seeking to catalyse renewed action and leverage new resources and commitments for the care reform in Bulgaria. I am a committed child protection and care professional, dedicated to the development of sustainable family and community-based solutions for children at risk of separation. Over the last 20 years, I provided technical assistance and guidance to government agencies, NGOs and other professionals in Europe, Africa, Latin America, and Asia to reform child protection systems. I have authored and co-authored of several publications focused on deinstitutionalisation of children’s services, family strengthening and alternative family care. I am a specialist in child rights and a child protection and a care practitioner with a diverse international experience in developing and implementing complex strategies, including measuring outcomes and gathering evidence of impact. Cross-cutting throughout my work has been advocating for change, supporting, and amplifying the voices of parents, children and young people with lived care experience so they can lead the movement for change.
