I am the Founder and CEO of Delicious by Shereen, a 501c3 organization that helps assist refugees and immigrants become productive members of the communities in which they live. By offering work that affords dignity through a shared love of food, we offer a hand up, not a hand out.I build bridges between communities in order to help everyone realize we have more in common than we think!My responsibilities include assisting newly resettled refugees and immigrants with translation services, navigating public and private services, serving as a medical liaison, and offering training in the areas of English as a Second Language, personal budgeting and finance training, and civics and government lessons to help people prepare for their citizenship tests.Additionally, I provide an economic and social benefit to the communities we serve through catering and other food related services provided by Delicious by Shereen.https://deliciousbyshereen.com/pages/about
