My experience with social media strategy begins with a pair of knitting needles and some yarn.In my second year of undergrad at the UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media, I turned my passion for knitwear design into my business, Delilah Designs. Utilizing the skills I was learning in my courses and my passion for branding, I grew my business on social media platforms by implementing stylistic content campaigns, influencer marketing, and social media analytics.Over the past 2 years, I have achieved product placements on influencers at New York Fashion Week, content reposts on two Buzzfeed Instagram accounts, multiple high-profile customers in the entertainment industry, and best of all, a loyal community on social media that I get to nurture and interact with on a daily basis.While my passion for knitwear design lies at the core of my personal brand, I excel at identifying social media trends and creating compelling media campaigns that consistently reflects my brand's voice and values, as well as other brands that I have worked with.I now aspire to bring my unique set of expertise to other brands as a social media marketing professional.
