Marketing is to brands what fashion is to me—the essence of my future career in a nutshell.I am an avid fashion enthusiast that is passionate about the dynamic nature of the marketing in this industry that exists across borders. Marketing campaigns by apparel retailers fascinate me, and as a creative person who has been creating art for her entire life, my goal is to design a successful marketing campaign for a global luxury apparel brand. In order to achieve this goal, I am currently studying at the Kelley School Of Business, majoring in Marketing and Apparel Merchandising. I have also become a part of the Retail Studies Organization and the Retail Innovation Organization, which gives me a chance to speak to and learn from the experiences of established leaders of retail giants.Being from India, this education will allow me to enhance my understanding of the business environment in a different continent. To feed my inquisitive nature, and further my knowledge of the techniques of global fashion merchandising and marketing, I also plan to study abroad while pursuing my education to further my knowledge of international marketing.
