Nancy Selvage was a sculptor who worked on large scaled public artwork in metal.• Work with a structural engineer to create a large scaled sculpture that could withstand hurricane force winds and still fit the artist design• Model making• Drawing 3d and 2d CAD files that could be used for manufacturing

I taught a 2 month course on creating kinetic art using Autodesk inventor. This included drawing parts, creating assemblies to simulate motion and exporting files for use in cnc equipment.

I taught:Intro to Metalworking and Jewelry,Design Fundamentals,Autocad,Portfolio Design, andVirtual Reality,Key technologies I taught: Adobe Suite, Programming in Python and HTML, Laser Cutting, 3D Printing, 3DsMax, AutoCad, Soldering, Metal Forming.I planned and taught courses in design and metalsmithing. This included teaching design principles and software such as AutoCad and 3DsMax. I also trained students to draw parts in AutoCad that could be used to 3D print or laser cut.

I designed and built a prototype 3D printer that was large enough to print a full sized chair. I used Rhino to create the printer, then wrote the milling paths using RhinoCAM, and then manufactured the parts myself on a CNC mill.
