I am a University of Florida PharmD/MBA seeking to complete an administration-focused residency. I am a problem-solver with a background in leadership and management, with problems on scales from individual patients to complex systems. I also enjoy not only meeting but surpassing patient needs in care. During my APPEs, I took on significant projects that highlight my interests and skills. In Summer 2022, I completed a business proposal for a novel community pharmacy model: hiring a Registered Dietician as an independent contractor for easier patient access to dietary counseling. I also collaborated on a QIPR-approved medication use evaluation with a team of residents and fellow students, analyzing prescribing of potentially inappropriate medications to older patients. In my MBA program I was named president of the GatorFit club, for which I scheduled both fitness-related activities and health-related speakers.
