As a young adult, I worked and traveled in and around cities in India while doing freelancing work mostly through referrals.Working as a Content Manager in Mumbai at a digital advertising agency (age 21), was when I found my business enthusiasm and new possibilities. The startup showed me a world where business was evolving to meet the needs of the future through creative thinking and conscientious living. In 2018, I decided to pursue a business program that brought together all my interests and skills into one picture and made a move to Canada. At George Brown College in Toronto, I enrolled for a 3 year advanced diploma in Project Management and graduated with a 3.5 GPA during the pandemic. I also volunteered as a Junior Project Manager at Enactus Canada (MindTime) in the last 2 semesters - a project toward improving overall mental health well-being in the last two semesters and successfully executed them along with the team. Project Management skills of seeing through projects from start to finish such as scheduling, budgeting, coordinating events, risk analysis, finding creative solutions to unexpected issues, meeting with stakeholders and obtaining requirements, and quality checking were put to real- world test.I first drew with Adobe Fresco in 2020 for self-prescribed recovery from trauma. It was an abstract of a simple rose.I loved to paint as a kid but I didn't feel I was good at it owing to my drawing skills, and then, pivoted to write. In 2021, I was having an especially hard time. It took me a really long time to realise that it was my heart talking to me but a longer time to understand that it's my imagination, and I knew what to do with it.Make art. Loads of it.
