• Support in global trainings, SOX annual planning and management of activities to comply with the global programs• Execution and evaluation of SOX program to ensure compliance with auditing standards, regulatory requirements and internal polices• Analyze and evaluate financial statements, risk assessments, internal controls and business processes to identify areas of risk and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with the business units in the implementation of problem solving• Maintain effective communication and relationship with finance community and external auditors• Utilize data analytics tools for SOX testing and performing audits covering IT controls• Providing coaching and assistance to the intern and other team members as part of internal reviews and activities

• Working as volunteer in this not-for-profit charity providing financial oversight of the company financial performance, including reviewing and monitoring financial statements, budgets, cash flow projections and other relevant documents to ensure compliance with applicable laws regulations and accounting standards

• Assist in the development of audit programs procedures and internal controls to ensure compliance with laws and regulations• Conducting financial and operation audits of retail stores to ensure compliance with policies and procedures, and identify opportunities of improvements• Analyze financial data and prepare audit reports, including recommendations for corrective actions and risk management• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to management and external auditors• Monitoring and tracking progress of audit recommendations, and providing follow-up reports to management• Execute special audits requested by Board of Directors and provided support to investigate hotline calls

• Experience in providing assurance services in finance and accounting to large publicly owned Brazilian companies and to international companies affiliates in Brazil• Understanding of accounting (Brazilian, IFRS, and USGAAPs) and business practices and financial reports on hospitality, manufacturing, e-commerce and industries including Sarbanes Oxley (404) projects and internal control structure implementation/evaluation, and risk assessment
