Website ApprenticeCaffyns Plc Jan 2011 - Feb 2012I undertook the role of website administrator for Caffyns in 2010. This was a very interesting position which taught me a number of skills whilst providing me with a qualification. I was also awarded Northbrook Colleges IT apprentice of the year upon completion of my course. Whilst completing my apprenticeship I undertook research of social media marketing and put my skills into practice setting up and running the Facebook and twitter pages for Caffyns as well as Automotive Blog. Other tasks included writing articles for Automotive Blog, copy writing for the Caffyns website, mail shots for specific advertising campaigns within the group, image manipulation and laying up web pages for the new website which was being created. -

Call Centre Manager1St Call Mobile Dec 2003 - May 2006I originally entered 1st Call Mobile as a customer service advisor. I was then promoted to senior customer service advisor and then to call centre manager. The call centre manager position required me to start up and maintain the running of overseas outbound call centres, which sold our products. This included writing training material, completing training sessions, maintaining sales levels, providing administrative support and generally managing them to meet and exceed sales targets, and maintain excellent customer relations. I also took customer service calls, updated customers accounts and dealt with general queries regarding the products we sold from mobile phones to personal and secured loans. I was occasionally required to make outbound telesales calls to sell our products to customers. Whilst working for 1st Call I completed a short telephone-training course, which taught us how to deal with difficult customers, listening skills, empathetic answers etc. 1st Call Mobile was taken over by 7 Star Direct in March 2007. I then became involved in Human Resources and the verification of sales. I conducted telephone interviews and face-to-face interviews with candidates to source new staff. I then monitored sales performance and attendance etc to keep records upto date. I also liaised with recruitment agencies on a daily basis regarding any candidates they sent us, and potential new starters.I also verified sales which were made by the telesales agents in order to make sure all the correct information had been given to the customers to avoid cancellation

My primary role was to sell contract mobile phone tariffs, with bolt ons and accessories as well as insurance products. On top of this I was required to assist in the general running of the store, providing customer care, cashier duties, store housekeeping and stock duties.
