Designed, developed and tested enhancements that allow front-office users to utilize point of service functionality between two different systems from a single application. This would allow the payment to get posted to the correct system/database. Created REST APIs to retrieve balances and patient/guarantor/encounter data. Worked closely with a client to build custom solutions to address gaps in software. These features include a web application to display all visit and encounter details for a given patient. An OPS job that collects all financial data for the previous day per facility and build a suite of reports and flag any financial discrepancies. Designed and lead a team that integrated two separate Patient Accounting systems. This allowed clients who are transitioning from one solution to another to view patients and encounters from both systems while only needed to log into a single application. Create number APIs to sync financial data between applications.Technologies utilized included Java, JavaScript/HTML/React, Oracle DB, REST APIs.
