My lifelong passions have been teaching and coaching and pushing the bounds of technology for the betterment of the world. That’s why I obtained my PhD in EE and joined the leading technology company in the world in the 1970s – Hewlett Packard Test and Measurement Organization. I am proud to have contributed to HP’s High-Frequency Technology Center, developing advanced technologies in the RF, microwave and optical areas in research, development and manufacturing for decades; and later to lead a consulting organization for HP-TMO helping other companies improve their technical business processes.After 2000, I left HP and started my own boutique management consulting firm, TechZecs LLC, which I led for another seventeen year – helping to improve tech companies large and small in the US, Europe and Southeast Asia. Now I am very excited and happy to return to my friends at Keysight Technology – a spin-off of the original HP-TMO – to lead their Global Consulting team and build their services organization.I have also found my creative outlet in writing “hard” science fiction novels – that is, fictional scenarios of future technologies that are physically possible (and even probable) and their effects on society.
