Mellon is a marketplace app for classifieds ads and rentals with an unique twist: deals are possibile exclusively among friends and friends of friends of the user.Mellon manages this way to offer a safe and trusted marketplace: users can sell or buy old stuff, rent their apartment or look for room, a co-working space or a good baby sitter only among their trusted network of contacts.I've been in charge of Mellon since my original idea and concept of the app and my duties include: Product Opportunity Assessment analysis, First (and following) drafts of product specs and requirements, Prototyping and MVP development, Development and design team product management, Product and Project management, Branding and landing page definition, System and platform architecture definition with third-party solution integration, Backend services development, Early adopters behavior analysis, Product roadmap definition, UX and UI definition, SEO and ASO actions, Apps delivery and mobile stores content production, public demos and investors pitch preparation.Mellon has been featured multiple times on the Italian iTunes Store, has now reached over 25.000 active users in Italy, with zero marketing budget but only by word of mouth and white hat ASO strategies.

Since 1994 I've been writing for tech magazines, newspapers and blogs about technology and digital innovations. Most of my focus has always been about human-computer interaction, software for children, apple tech and disruptive startups and digital products.

MyPage.it was originally an internal experimental project of intermedia mmh, eventually, it was spun off as a separate and fundedStartup which developed a large network of sites and online solutions for kids, tweens and their families.I've been involved in MyPage for the entire life of the project since the very first idea of a safe social network for kids to the large multi-target network of vertical sites.- Served as Product Manager and Project Manager managing a talented team of approx 20 people including designers, animators, illustrators, junior and senior developers, front-end wizards and SysOps guys.- In charge of SEO and SEM actions for the entire network of sites. Defining and redefining strategies during the whole project.- Served as president of MyPage being the "public face" of the project in many national and international events and tech conferences.MyPage.it was awarded "Best website for children in Italy" in 2009 by Andersen Magazine and was (at the time) the largest social network for kids aged 5-9 in Italy.The MyPage Network (main social network site + companion editorial oriented websites) reached at its peak over 50k daily users with over 4 million monthly page views.

Disney Comics was one of the first digital distribution networks for digital comics fruition. It was a worldwide, real-time, extremely efficient content platform (and a great iOS app by the way).For this project, I've worked with teams of Disney (in Italy and US), intermedia mmh and Ovolab for the entire lifespan of the project.- Served as Product Manager of the System Architecuture- Responsible for the developing and maintaining the real-time API layers and the development of three different web consoles (written with e different technologies) for Disney personnel (for content creation, metadata and editorial data management).- In charge of Backend Console Documentation for Disney Personell.- Worked with Disney Team to better define platform evolution (tech-wise and feature-wise) and platform roadmap and scalability.Collaboration with Ovolab with similar duties also included other Products for multiple clients including: Conde Nast, SEAT, La Repubblica
