Utilizes engineering drawings and models to prepare router steps, work instructions and bill of materials for designed parts and assemblies.Provide engineering support for new product and process introductions. Hands on setup and prove out ensuring that all activities are completed and documented in accordance with Stryker procedures.Plan and execute capital acquisition activity from specifying equipment, installation and validation.Participate in PFMEA, Control Plan, SOP and PPAP generation associated with product transfers and launches.Conduct MSA studies for new products and new processes.Uses latest engineering techniques to reduce product time to market whilst adhering to regulatory requirements, project deadlines and product costs.Assist and/or train engineering technicians and operators on equipment and processes. Determine the optimum fabrication and machining methods for new or insourced products along with procedure development for the processes and the machines used.4.) Understand tooling and fixture requirements needed to manufacture the products. Cutting tool design and working with vendors to get them manufactured.5.) Investigate and troubleshoot manufacturing issues using continuous improvement techniques.6.) Work with R&D engineers on the manufacturability of new products. 7.) Develop CNC programs for 5 axis mills and Swiss turn lathes using CAD/CAM software. 8.) Responsible for Production floor support, prototype development of in-house products.9.) Organization of team meetings with cross functional groups for validation and project tracking.10.) Handling multiple projects at once.11.) I work with Fanuc LR Mate200 robots that are part of an automated machining process (Fanuc Handling Tool Operation and Programming class completed in 2017).12.)
