Dr. Jacqueline Delmont, M.B.A., is the Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Delmont Medical Care and Delmont Healthcare Consultants. A Venezuelan native, Dr. Delmont began her career treating impoverished people. She believes that continuing to provide care to “patients who need her most” is her calling.As a clinician, she provides culturally sensitive ambulatory medical care to underserved and underinsured populations across Long Island and Queens. As an advocate, she collaborates with various not-for-profit organizations, including: The Coordinating Agency for Spanish Americans (C.A.S.A.), The Hispanic Counseling Center, and the Long Island Hispanic Pastoral Association, to conduct community outreach to create awareness on preventative health, chronic diseases as well as self-management.Dr. Delmont’s endeavors have rendered her an expert on various subjects. As an early adopter of a patient-centered approach, Electronic Medical Records and e-prescribing, she quickly became a leader in the field of medical practice transformation and Patient Centered Medical Home. She is also key clinical leader for the Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) for the Nassau Queens Performing Provider System and her locations care for the largest Medicaid attribution seen in a private practice setting.Additionally, Dr. Delmont has established herself as a prolific lecturer and speaker, sharing her insights on a wide variety of health-related, women-related and community issues. She frequently appears on popular television programs, disseminating her expertise to minority communities nationwide.
