DDAD is a Budapest-, and Erbil-based professional, studio for architecture, design, urban and landscape of different scales. We work on Interiors, product design, researches and futuristic visions. We have worked on projects in the ME and EU.

Assigned as the design permitting architect in the project management of the SK Battery Plant Hungary, the largest greenfield project ever to start in Hungary, in the town of Iváncsa, for the world's leading battery manufacturer, the South Korean company, SK Innovation "which is investing 2.29 billion USD, to build the company's largest European factory unit. The new facility to be constructed on 70 hectares, will make Hungary’s role in electric mobility gain great appreciation in the coming years. As the annual capacity of the production base will be 30GWh, This scale of output would supply batteries for approximately 430,000 cars based on 70 kWh per charging with a more than 400 km range, and it will also creates 2,500 new jobs. According to the company’s strategic plan, it strives to achieve 125 GWh of production capacity by 2025, a significant part of which will be provided by the capacity of the Hungarian plants." Definitely can’t wait utill it’s finished.

Being the design architect in the PM of the Samsung SDI HU battery factory, the 2nd largest project in Hungary, requires solving complex problems within short time period, and great communication, collaboration and coordination skills due to the huge amount of companies and parties working on this project and its mega size. Being involved in this mega-structure project in Hungary, working amid the largest companies of Europe and South Korea, requires great coordination and time/task management. The SDI HU project also aims to facilitate green energy consumption.It is worth mentioning that “BMW, Audi, Ford, and Volkswagen will use the batteries made in the factory. The project is a 1.2 trillion won investment” Which is around one billion USD

Being the Design Principal at Lucid Source is a responsibility for heading the teams executing the different design projects assigned to the department, and for delivering projects with quality and on time.
