I am a very motivated and driven person. I am always positive and look for answers to difficult situations or problems. I see myself as the last stop in any problem and I find solutions easily. I have been in the IT industry since 1999 and more specific the meat industry since 2006. I have many different qualifications. I have had experience in call center support as well as managing a call center. I have changed the call center from a cost center to a profit center and setup the pabx system with the help of the technicians to maximize the helpdesk staff's throughput. In my career as IT Manager, I have managed to bring the network and server downtime to insignificant numbers. I have setup IT policies and IT governing documents as well as IT and network security policies. I have managed the tender for a Time and Attendance system and project managed the entire project. I have also managed the tender process for a company wide information systems solution (ERP). I have been the key advisor on all the aspects of the successful implementation of the ERP system. I have also been the manager of the tender and implementation of an antivirus system for the company. I like challenges and I like to succeed. I have currently had a 100% success rate in all my projects and have been 1% over budget on the time and attendance system, which is quite remarkable considering that Information Systems has a 70% fail rate according to Software Project Management (Fourth Edition) Bob Hughes and Mike Cotterell ISBN 0077109899 McGraw-Hill (London) (2006).I enjoy studying to broaden my horizons and to learn more in an ever changing industry. I have recently enrolled in Microsoft SQL 2014 DBA and BI.I am very passionate about data. I believe that data doesn’t lie.
