AUNA aims to become the main forum on the energy efficient retrofitting of buildings through a permanent dialogue among the main stakeholders involved in order to look for public and private solutions.AÚNA project is part of the European Commission's “Smart Finance for Smart Buildings” initiative. In addition, it gives continuity in Spain to the work of the Sustainable Energy Investment Forums (SEIF), also an initiative of the European Commission, which aim to promote large-scale investment and financing to promote sustainable energy.AUNA will focus on some critical goals, such as: • Evaluate best practices and develop new financing models for sustainable construction and rehabilitation. • Make normative and legislative recommendations that help create new instruments and tools that channel new investment in this sector. • Develop schemes that facilitate a more efficient use and greater impact of public funds. • Define mechanisms that allow a better technical and financial risk profile of the projects to be financed.
