About Del Stark

I am a highly motivated and dedicated teacher with a passion to teach children about the exciting world of Maths. I encourage pupil led discovery and research using ICT and I employ a variety of games and activities for the development of engaging and interactive lessons. I am coordinating Maths led STEM activities such as school trips to the James Watt Nanofabrication Centre at the University of Glasgow. I bring a variety of experiences to the classroom such as working with industry, forming a company, presenting complex subjects to young students and managing European projects. One such project I worked on was providing the European Space Agency with technology insights regarding advanced materials for future space missions. I ran my own business and I have published technology reports on a variety of exciting subjects such as graphene, 3D printing and the recycling of nanomaterials. I work with students and help them discover future opportunities in fields related to maths, engineering and science. Past Experience: Since 2001, Del Stark has been analysing technologies and market trends to assist companies in understanding how nanotechnology could improve their products and processes allowing them to innovate, make new product claims, find a competitive edge and offer improved services to customers. In 2011 Del Stark Technology Solutions was launched to deliver bespoke technology analysis and scouting services to industry.
