In 2014, the John Paul Stevens Senate won awards for Most Outstanding Senate In TheRegion and Best Senate Reactivation. Currently, we plan to help students at the University ofSan Diego School of Law and California Western School of Law re-activate their senates. TheJohn Paul Stevens Senate believes that this network will serve to grow the Delta Theta Phimembership and populate other senates in the future. This process should begin by creating anopportunity for student members and attorney members to meet each other.On May 16th, 2015, the John Paul Stevens Senate of Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity will be conducting our annual Founders Day Dinner Celebration and Silent Auction. Our goal for the evening is to re-establish a network between the student members and the attorney’s.This will be an evening of networking, socializing, and giving back to two different charities in the San Diego area: (1) the Legal Aid Society of San Diego, which provides legal representation for low income individuals and disadvantaged communities and (2) the Wounded Warriors Project, which aids in the needs of veterans and service members who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound, coincident to their military service on or after September 11, 2001.We would appreciate any support in helping to give back to two great causes.
