I studied computer engineering at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil). I hold a master's degree in Computer Science and Management (Informatique et Gestion) delivered by Polytech Montpellier (France) thanks to a scholarship financed by the Brazilian government (BRAFITEC). During my formation, I have had the opportunity to work in several technology fields from the very low level (FPGA, microcontrollers, electronic design automation, assembly) to the very high level (project management, OO, design principles). With experience both in academic research and application development (as an intern). Some of my projects include: -> Gesture recognition: the project was proposed by the Boise State University's Speech, Language and Interactive Machines (SLIM). To generalize the model they had defined previously, we attempted to apply the concept of mirror neurons to gesture recognition. This project was developed as a "Projet Industriel" where two other colleagues and I work on a project for two months, having frequent meetings with the client and developing the proposal from the beginning (defining the requirement, design) to end (delivery and deployment). Technologies used: Python, Keras, Tensor Flow, and OpenCV.-> Machine learning for audio on web (sigsep): Fabian-Robert Stöter proposed the project. Sigsep is a tool that allows any user, using a browser, to separate the musical instruments from a piece of music, i.e., the user can extract only the sound of the guitar or vocals of a song, without the need of any kind of server for processing. Technologies used: ES8, Tensor Flow JS, and Node.More info: https://sigsep.github.io/ and https://sigsep.github.io/open-unmix-js/-> Handyman application: simple JAVA application created for the Software Engineering course at Polytech Montpellier, the primary purpose of the project was to see the many different design patterns learned in class, such as Factory and Observer/Observable in action. It helped me understand why the patterns work and how to apply them.
