Fast paced heavy work in a giant freezer chilled to -26°C. I'm a hired-in consultant working some evenings and weekends. My main work is fulfilling orders for grocery stores, I drive through the warehouse picking boxes to assemble into complex 3D puzzles on pallets that I wrap up and send off. I also work with a reach truck to load incoming pallets into high bay racks and to lift down pallets to load any location that needs refilling.If I encounter a problem I fix it. I know the ins and outs of the printers and wrapping machines we use and will fix them straight away rather than waiting for management to get things done. I've worked with 5S to improve the working environment and taken on little projects like reorganising waste bins, designing signage, and trying to solve statics issues with the printers.

I sat at the board of directors of a local nonprofit gardening collective that manage and develop a plot of land to produce abundant vegetables and learn together. I initiated a successful fundraising drive where we sold lovage salt and worked on graphics for posters and handouts for events. I still head a group there that designed, planted and now care for a low maintenance forest garden filled with edible perennials

I was the elected chairman of a council that exists to improve the social and physical environment of an apartment complex that houses 125 apartments, Every tenant in this complex pays a certain part of their rent that they trust us to use on things to improve their well-being

While I was still in high school I set out to become a digital artist specializing in fractal art.The main tool I used was Apophysis, an open source piece of software used to create and edit fractal flames using mathematical transforms or code.I started out using Flickr to post and promote my artworks but eventually switched to DeviantArt, where I amassed a moderate following. It was on DeviantArt that I monetized my pursuit, using their print-on-demand services to offer posters and other goods, but I only ever made a couple of sales.My images were used on a couple of websites, a book cover and a calendar and I won a few accolades.In the end I realized I wouldn't really be able to make it as an artist and as I got absorbed in other projects the dream quietly died. I was a major part of a small international team of people that developed an ambitious game concept that secured funding and got us a deal to develop a partner planet for Entropia Universe, a massive online game / early metaverse with a real-cash economy developed by MindArk.I worked on developing story concepts and doing world building. I prepared rough 3d renders to illustrate some of my concepts using a 3d studio max and zbrush pipeline and helped out to develop the starting area of the game.When we secured the deal the fine print made it clear that we were severely limited in what we would be able to implement, gameplay wise. When we realize that we wouldn't be able to do much more than make a visual mod for the base game with some new environments and resources many members of the group lost their enthusiasm for the project. After some rounds of infighting the fledgling company was disbanded.
