I am Founder of Social Currents, a next-generation citizen research and engagement initiative that tracks the changing media landscape to position social solutions for equity and the environment.With an understanding that policy follows culture, I support social purpose organizations and companies to critically examine and experiment with how to (re)build trust, engage and listen to citizens on the most critical social and environmental issues of our times.I lead strategic partnerships and communications for social-lab teams, including the Engineering Change Lab and previously Energy Futures Lab. As Director of Community with Ashoka Changemakers, I co-developed and led more than 60 global campaigns with partners such as National Geographic, G-20, Nike, GE, eBay, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation and Gates Foundation. During my tenure, I developed national and global media collaborations including The Monitor and The New Yorker. My strategic leadership contributed to raising more than $575 million to scale Ashoka innovations globally.During my six-year tenure with CUSO International, I focused on Indigenous cultural-rights programming in Canada and the South Pacific. As Executive Director of the Selkirk College Foundation, I led a team to establish the first BC Regional Innovation Chair in Rural Economic Development.
