Dr. Angela Demaree earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Purdue University's College of Veterinary Medicine and a Master of Public Health in Biostatistics and Epidemiology from the University of Southern California's Keck School of Medicine. She is also a certified high performance coach and host of the Beyond the Stethoscope™ Podcast. Dr. Demaree recently retired as a Major in the United States Army Reserve and has enjoyed a diverse career path in companion animal and equine sports medicine practice, regulatory medicine, politics, and policy. She is always looking to improve the status quo and is a co-founder and CSO of a veterinary technology start-up focused on precision dosing of compounded medications. She serves as Past-President of the American Association of Food Safety and Public Health Veterinarians and the president of Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine's Alumni Board. She spends her free time with her two horses, Tommy and Winfield, cats, Henry and Pearle, hiking, and turning nature into art with her photography.
