Outreach tools included talking circles (focus group meetings), interviews, and a survey that resulted in 768 responses from urban Native and Indigenous people who live, work, visit, or get services in Seattle. The NNCS is a project of sləp̓iləbəxʷ (Rising Tides) Indigenous Planning Group, a coalition of Native and Indigenous planners, architects, and community members, and the contract's fiscal management was provided by Na'ah Illahee Fund, who also provided staff support.
