As the college’s first vice president of marketing and strategic communications, the team’s goals were to build trust and confidence across campus, connect our resources to effective strategies for revenue generating divisions of enrollment and fund development, and to tell the Loras College story. In addition, the team transitioned the campus spirit shop from Barnes & Noble College to a new institutional store, Dewey’s Perch, in four months.• Updated the institutional brand identity, adjusted for small digital space, expanded graphic assets, and created new visual brand guidelines. Reintroduced the beloved Dewey mascot after being discontinued by the athletic department.• Developed and launched a new institutional messaging framework, including tagline, brand promise, brand voice, and key messages. Messaging was rolled out simultaneously with the new website and integrated into paid digital marketing ads, digital personas, and all admission collateral. • Launched a new website (loras.edu) and consolidated multiple ancillary sites, bringing the alumni site into the main domain with significant cost savings. In addition, the site was optimized for search, and the design was updated for consistency across the Acalog academic catalog and the Pentera major gifts sites.• Led the transition to a new paid digital agency with greater fee and media spend transparency.
