Manage operational tasks of 7 branches within market such as drawer, foreign currency, vault and instant issue card audits, facilitate operational huddles & training, safe deposit box maintenance, month end audits, logs and processing. Ensure adherence to operational procedures (ie: dual control, balancing, properly identifying customers, scanning appropriate documentation, researching errors, opening transaction processing cases, etc.) at my branches while partnering with branch management team to provide ongoing feedback and coaching.

Monthly coaching of (3) direct reports as well as training and development of new and existing staff towards branch transformation (universal banking). Assist in supervision of branch and function as branch manager in manager's absence. Responsible for observing staff execution of our customer experience standards. Lead team in best practices to help customers find appropriate financial products and solutions to meet their banking needs both now and in the future, assisting customers with service issues, and gaining new business.

Support retail training & development staff by offering one on one mentoring to new hires as assigned. Mentor responsibilities include aspects of company onboarding, scheduling, system, product & process training, answering questions, role playing, allowing new hires to shadow live customer interactions (transactional & sales), shoulder-to-shoulder coaching on live customer interactions, offering feedback, skill comprehension testing, ensuring new hire stays on task with required courses and training material, reporting to direct management necessary feedback for improvement/concern. Job requires strong time management and communication skills to ensure normal responsibilities are completed in addition to remaining attentive to trainee(s).

Open checking, savings, credit cards, safe deposit box, certificate of deposit, IRA, personal & home equity loan products & solutions. Refer to different lines of business (mortgage, brokerage, small business, trust, remote deposit, private banking, commercial). Help new & existing customers meet their current and future financial needs by asking questions in order to provide appropriate banking solutions.

Open/close accounts including checking, savings, money market, safe deposit box, CD's, IRA's, HSA's, online banking, atm/debit card, etc. Initiate wire transfers, handle customer complaints, disputes and concerns. Refer to other departments as necessary (Treasury, Mortgage, Commercial Lending, Consumer Loans). Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products to better fit customers financial needs. Offer notary services.

Train, observe and test new hires.

Managing vault transactions and daily balancing.
