Demetria D. Frank, is a collaborative and dynamic leader that brings over thirteen years of law teaching experience to her private consulting practice. Under her leadership as the University of Memphis School of Law’s inaugural Associate Dean for Diversity & Inclusion from 2018-2023, Memphis Law established an extended pipeline to lawyering beginning in high school that serves as a model for law schools nationally.Demetria earned her Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the University of Texas School of Law serving as a member of the Journal on Civil Liberties and Civil Rights. Her research explores cultural proficiency, implicit associations in legal decision making, and prisoner rights. She is currently under contract with Carolina Academic Press developing a textbook, Culturally Proficient Lawyering, with coauthors Anastasia Boles, Darrell Jackson & Jamila Jefferson.
