• Led a fundraising team of 4 development professionals to support a $1.7 million operating budget for patient navigation services for breast cancer clients and their families. • Worked collaboratively with board of directors to increase individual and corporate support of special events and programmatic initiatives. • Implemented a comprehensive fundraising program to sustain organizational growth through a pandemic by diversifying revenue streams

The African American Leadership Institute (AALI) is designed to enhance civic awareness and leadership opportunities to make an innovative community impact on Central Texas.Launched in January 2021, our mission is to build a stronger Black Austin community by equipping exceptional leaders to live up to their moral responsibility to seek to make life better for everyone in our city, state, and the world.

• Served as senior leadership for one of the most active chapters out of 62 total, raising and managing a $4.3 million annual budget• Functioned as an organizational strategist who contributed to the framing of the chapter’s intermediate and long-term goals and clarifying the overall mission, vision, and potential growth of the Foundation across the state of Hawaii• Orchestrated all fund-development activities and initiatives, with heavy focus on bolstering community philanthropic support and appealing to a wide range of donor types and corporate partners• Led and mentored a diverse team of 6 developing professionals of varying experience levels that successfully executed large and small-scale corporate and private events and secured both major and legacy gifts to meet ambitious fundraising targets year-after-year • Devised a sustainable funding strategy that enabled the Board of Directors and executive leadership to form new donation streams by leveraging preexisting, underutilized professional networks
