Fort George G Meade, Maryland

• Developed and Directed the Commanding General’s Annual Training Guidance for a Command of over 2,400 soldiers across a geographical region of eight states to prepare for operations in a very dynamic constantly changing.
• Supervised the training, manning, equipping, and deployment of over 20 teams consisting of 30 soldiers each to support ongoing missions in Qatar, Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait supporting Theater Security Cooperation.
• Despite facing a significant budget shortfall due to sequestration, successfully developed a comprehensive budget which provided the necessary funding for all training and overseas deployments while initiating a $1.2.

Pensacola, Florida Area

• Served as the Operations and Intelligence Chief for a United States Army Civil Affairs Command supporting ongoing operations in support of Unites States Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM).
• Successfully developed a robust training plan for the deployment of over 240 soldiers for annual deployments to various locations in South America including Peru, Guatemala, and Panama.
• Upon assuming this position, I was faced with the challenge of an organization with subordinate units missing deadlines, and no follow up procedures. I worked aggressively to develop a structured communications plan.

Riverdale Park, MD

• Provided operational leadership, and strategic direction to over 900 soldiers in the 354th Civil Affairs Brigade by scheduling annual training sessions with all commanders and operations officers from each subordinate.
• Turned around a marginally performing organization through the implementation of new concepts, ideas and a comprehensive program management plan resulting in the unit being ranked number “1” of 80 Headquarters elements.
• Developed innovative approaches to recruiting in a challenging environment with inventive strategies resulting in an increase in overall readiness from 70 to 100 percent.

Honolulu, Hawaii

• Planned, Developed, and initiated OPERATON TOMADACHI, the US Government Interagency response after the earthquake and tsunami in 2011 providing immediate relief for over 160,000 Japanese victims.
• During the disaster response I directed an Operational Planning Team that developed an evacuation plan for over 30,000 American Military families to move them to safety within 72 hours of the disaster.
• As a strategic planner for U.S. Pacific Command I developed a Theater Campaign Plan for the Armed Forces of the Philippines to create the first annual rotation of US military personnel participating in joint exercises.
• Monitored and tracked exercises, deployments, and the movement of over 106,000 Soldiers and 86,000 Marines in the Indo-Asia-Pacific Area of Responsibility for United States Pacific Command (USPACOM).

Arden Hills, MN/Tikrit, Iraq

• Selected to serve as the liaison between the US Department of State and US military in Tikrit, Iraq from 2007-2008 to ensure proper lines of communication were open for programs and projects, successfully leading to.
• Deployed to Stuttgart, Germany on short notice to direct an Operational Planning Team at United States European Command (USEUCOM) which developed Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Response plans for an estimated 25,000.
• Served as the project manager, developing anti-terrorism plans and threat assessments for two companies of the 407th Civil Affairs Battalion for deployment to Iraq in 2007.

Various Conus (Stateside) Field Artillery Units

Served in various roles from battery through battalion, culminating as the Logistics Officer for a Field Artillery unit of over 600 Soldiers and was responsible for over $130 million of vehicles and self-propelled weapons systems. In addition, I ensured all maintenance was regularly scheduled, documented, and all safety items were inspected.
