Dimitris was born in Athens, where he lives until today. He is a professional architect engineer, with a master's degree from National Technical University of Athens. His thesis project “Landscape as Infrastructure: Land Machines in Eastern Attica”, focuses on the infrastructural and connectivity issues through Eastern Attica, managing local water degradation issues, through a series of natural processes translated in land structures.He is currently employed as a junior architect in NY-based architectural firm TacetCreations, while being involved in personal research and international competitions.He is interested in landscape design, which he perceives as a powerful tool carrying big impact on societies as a whole, creating new connections through the built environment, strengthening biodiversity and solving problems in multiple levels.His work has been featured in online publications, selected for exhibition and received awards in various countries, including architectural festivals in Spain, Puerto Rico and Greece.
