As an EDW Quality Assurance Analyst, I am responsible for leading the planning, execution, and release of all test activities during multiple, parallel EDW project/platform engagements. I’m also responsible for the creation of key deliverables including test plans (Integration, Functional, Performance, Automation, Security, and Regression testing), detailed test cases and defects using industry standard test management tools, and test sign off artifacts. I work closely with business and IT groups to design and execute a test strategy that loads data into the EDW, data integration, quality management, aggregation, and business intelligence to various platforms using advanced technologies.It includes manual and automation testing of various software products; defect tracking, and documenting test cases clearly for each product, module and component by product functionality. Responsible for executing test cases and reporting defects into the Test Management tool. Able to understand the requirements and write test cases.A key responsibility is working with other EDW roles such as Business Analysts, Data Architects, Data Modelers, ETL Developers, Enterprise Architects, BI Developers, Project Managers, Platform Architects, Release Managers, Operations and Support, and DBAs, to continually communicate and ensure the quality of production launches.I am also responsible for the completion of testing for my individually assigned tasks as well as mentoring, training, coaching, and overseeing test activities for new college hires.
