Built a relationship with clients through their job searching journey by assessing their competencies, work history, educational attainment, skills and abilities; identifying challenges with finding employment and guides clients to find solutions. Conducted regular ongoing individual meetings with clients for job searching, resume building, education, job retention and/or job readiness (interview preparation). Completed an individualized overview of available services and works with clients to create an employment plan for short and long-term goals. Prepared, organized and maintained accurate, up-to-date information in both electronic and paper files reflecting the entire history of a program participant including log of supportive services issued.Utilizes Salesforce system to input clients and provides a monthly spreadsheet that tracks all referrals for the Program. Ensured all deadlines are met and I work directly with the Director, ensuring all data from this Workforce Program are accurate and meeting the metrics.

Residential Assistant at Oakes College: Focus was to develop, maintain, and support the community at Oakes and serve as a peer advisor and a positive role model to residents. Duties included creating and running inclusive, educational, and social programs at Oakes that relate to the code of conduct and campus safety, as well as current events that spark topics of discussion (including race, politics, health and well-being, education, etc.)

A summer program taken at USC geared to empower students and parents in communities across the globe with the tools to define their life's purpose/career path, break through their barriers, and enroll and complete some form of postsecondary education, specifically to be prepared to enter high skilled careers or trades.
