Demia Avery is the creator of two podcasts, "Motivational Moments with Demia" that has been in existence for over 3 years (available on iHeart, Google, and Spotify) just to name a few, and "Whatchu' Doin' Wilmington", her latest podcast, which sheds light on the positive people, places, and things in the Wilmington, North Carolina area. Demia us also a freelance arts reporter for WHQR Wilmington, NC. Although Demia is new to the city of Wilmington, she has created quite the buzz with her show "Whatchu' Doin' Wilmington", so much so that she has caught the attention of some of Wilmington's most notable public figures and businesses (Jim Knowles of the ArtWorks, The Newkirks of Genesis Block and PD, and Radio Personality, Bigg B). Demia has over 30 years of entertainment experience. She has worked in almost every facet of the entertainment industry... starting from radio promotions to talent coordinator, to a publicist, and now... podcast host. She has interviewed many notable entrepreneurs, as well as entertainers, such as Kron Moore(Tyler Perry’s “The Oval” which her agency represents), singer/songwriter Tony Terry (hit single entitled "With You"), and Terron Brooks (best known as Eddie Kendricks in the television series, The Temptations).Demia is also a former publicist to R&B singer Marc Nelson (90's group, AzYet, and original member of Boyz II Men). In addition, Demia is co-founder of Avery Sisters Entertainment, a SAG franchised talent agency located in Atlanta, GA, alongside her partner/sister. She is the author of motivational eBooks entitled "The Roadblock is You", and now "Meditations For The Right Now", as well as a 2x nominee for the Delaware Black Awards.
