During my time at Terumo Aortic, I have gained valuable experience in SmartSolve: Pilgrim Quality Management System, providing support to create and revise specification sheets, receiving and inspection forms, DHRs, DMRs, MIs, QIs, WIs, DFMEAs, PFMEAs, PMVRs, a Design Traceability Matrix, a Design and Development Plan, Design Review Meeting Minutes, and a Visual Standard. I have used SolidWorks, DraftSight, and Excel to complete my work. I have worked hand in hand with Regulatory, Document Control, Quality Management, R&D, and TAS Directors to obtain approvals for these changes while also developing working relationships with all employees of TAS, local and abroad. I have created Engineering Orders to build R&D grafts with personally made custom springs for which I worked with the internal Machine Shop to create the mandrel for, as well as gaining experience on a lathe and drill press. I utilized SolidWorks and a 3D printer to create innovative solutions for R&D needs. In addition, I have learned to load and deploy grafts from Terumo Aortic delivery devices as well as construct assemblies for these delivery systems. Moreover, I have performed preventative maintenance for all R&D tools scheduled monthly, working diligently with manufacturing engineers to obtain the appropriate PM procedures and logging them in SAP. I have gained experience in closing NCRs and communicating with vendors to rework products that were not built to specification and to have them returned. Lastly, I have supported the R&D team with actively purchasing materials and supplies from various venders using SAP, while communicating with purchasing and finance to keep track of funds and payments.
