I was a member of a team consisting of 9 people developing new and innovative microarchitectures to improve the power/performance of Graphics Processing Units (GPU).I have worked on a large scale project consisting of a few hundreds of people across the world. The goal of the project was to develop a power efficient hybrid hardware/software co-designed processor using binary translation. In particular, I participated in the optimization of the memory execution cluster with special emphasis on protocols and prefetching. Later on in the same project I was the responsible for the architectural definition of several parts within the memory cluster of an out-of-order design.Tools used: C and C++ to develop and modify complex highly detailed in-house software simulators; Scripting languages like Perl, Python;

Research on Hardware/Software Co-designed Processor and hardware support for Dynamic Binary Translation.Worked on the definition and development of DARCO infrastructure for research on co-designed processors and dynamic binary translation.
