I began with an internship from February to June 2023, following which I was able to remain as a Junior CRM Marketeer until the end of August in order to gather more experience before my graduation year began.

Started as tearista/all-round worker for about 2 years. After gaining experience on the work floor for 2 years, I decided to climb up the ladder and apply for the position Team Manager. During my time as team manager I have successfully trained tearista's, made sure the store was running smoothly, contributed to various meetings to improve team building and work culture. During my time at YoYo! Fresh Tea Bar I have learned to solve problems creatively, handle bigger responsibilities, and gained leadership skills.

My parents started this business in 2010. I have been involved with the business from the beginning and have done various tasks ranging from helping customers in the shop and leading catering to eventually doing management and assisting with administration. It is safe to say that I grew up in this business given the fact that I got involved at a young age.

I have worked in front of house (service and bar), kitchen, and bakery. Wherever I was needed, I was happy to jump in. During my time at Dragons delight I have learned to be versatile and flexible. I came in inexperienced but was able to grow my knowledge about the food industry by following courses (HACCP/food safety), training (barista and service training), and practical experience (kitchen and bakery).

After learning the basics of hairdressing in cosmetic school, I got to learn the ins and outs of this craft during my internship at HairGlow (formerly known as Michel van der Held haar & make-up). HairGlow allowed me to develop my interest in the beauty industry and introduced me to the creative workfield. During my time at HairGlow I had to work with diverse set of clientele, as a result I have learned to put customer experience as a top priority by providing quality service.
