Ir. Den Low Han Guan, P.EngM.IEM, M.ASHRAE Den Low is a professional engineer registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia and the Institution of Engineers Malaysia.. He is Past President of ASHRAE’s Malaysia Chapter and currently serves as nominating member of the Nominating Committee for ASHRAE (a global engineering organization) representing Region XIII (consists of Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia, Korea, Japan, Thailand, Philippines, Macau and China as well as the rest of Asia Pacific). He is also a correspondence member for ASHRAE Technical Committee TC 9.11 of Clean Space and as reviewer of recently published ASHRAE Cleanroom Design Guide. Den Low graduated from the University of Malaya in 1989 with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has over 30 years of experience in the designing and building of clean environment facilities for the industries of semiconductor, electronic and electrical, pharmaceutical and biotechnology, hospitals and health-care, food and research and development (R&D) laboratories. He founded AIRGATE (M) Sdn. Bhd. (now known as IAQ Resources (M) Sdn Bhd) in 1995 and was the Director of IAQ Technology International Group of companies for 23 years. Presently he is a Director of EMS Design & Consultation Sdn. Bhd., principally involved in the provision of engineering support for indoor clean environment. He was a Board Member (2015 – 2018) of once the London Stock Exchange based AIM public listed's MAYAIR Group PLC, a manufacturer on clean air filtration products.
