Fishery is characterized by lot of regulations. Clients of DICTU in this sector are the NVWA and RVO-VIR. These organizations are responsible for the implementation of these regulations in the Netherlands. The associated IT-systems are very complex with interfaces with e.g the EU, research organizations, product agencies etc. New policies in the world of fishery are implemented at high speed with a great deal of complexity.The Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA) is to safeguard human and animal health and welfare. The Authority monitors the safety of food and consumer products and enforces nature regulation.DICTU is the major IT-supplier for the NVWA. Large and complex systems are needed to execute the inspection-tasks of the NVWA.Many bespoke system have been built over the years with complex interfaces and different technologies. With INSPECT there has come an end to this intertwining of old and new systems, platforms and complex interfaces.INSPECT is an ordened collection of ICT-components, built on the rule-based software of Blueriq, which supports all kinds of services. Uniformity in techniques takes care of real-time and online information for our clients and their employies. eHerkenning and DigiD, standard building blocks for identification and authentication are components of the platform. Through standard interfaces INSPECT gets actual information from the Basic Registrations.

Responsible for the delivery of 40 long-term Application Management (AM) contracts with major clients in the Netherlands. Financial and forecast reporting regarding contract and productivity in MT.
